I have noticed that people commonly mistake the Violet wavelength, which is approximately 405nm for Ultraviolet and they use the phrases interchangeably as if they were the same thing, which they aren't.
Today I was asked the question: "Could you tell me what is the difference between violet light and ultra violet? Does my Scalar Wave Laser (SWL) have ultraviolet?"
This question keeps popping up and it is an important one. Here is the answer:
Ultraviolet is not a part of the SWL and is not a "healing wavelength. "Ultraviolet" means "beyond violet" (from Latin ultra, "beyond"), violet being the color of the highest frequencies of visible light. Ultraviolet light has a higher frequency than violet light. The SWL uses the 405nm violet wavelength, which has therapeutic effects and benefits. Ultraviolet does not.
